The law is always behind what we as a society consider good/bad. That's billions of dollars just sitting on the table. There is no way corporations are going to let politicians and bureaucrats control the internet. Sooner than later, Net Neutrality will all but exist.
It has only been a matter of time before corporations actually realized it's significance and value. The reason capitalism "doesn't work well" is because the FCC protects that. The internet is a very "socialized" system believe it or not. Yes I am well aware of that thing called Net Neutrality. 100 people seperatly thinking it doesn't matter can add up to about a weeks pay for 3-6 employees (who are probably salaried and working lots of overtime). When a large amount of people think it doesn't matter, it actually matters. The thought process of "how is one $60/$30/$10 purchase going to change someones life" is the same as people who don't vote because it doesn't matter. You (not the personal pronoun you) are taking away from the company that pays those developers to have a job and put food on the table for themselves and their families.
